the first conversation

tell us what you want to build or improve.

Tell Peter what you want to build or improve: a website, an application or the systems behind your customer experience. A line is enough to start.

Give your Oktoberfest a clear route to bookings.

Sending a message does not commit you to a call or paid work. The first conversation is free. Any paid work is agreed before it starts.

tell us what's happening.
One reply from a person. No list, no sequence.
Tell Peter what you are planning and what is getting in the way.

We use this to have one useful conversation, nothing else. See the privacy notice.

what you get from the hour.

You're not buying anything in that conversation, and we're not asking you to.

  • An initial view of your website, application or connected-system project and what needs checking.
  • A practical next step, whether you have a clear brief or need help shaping one.
  • A straight answer on whether we are the right people for it.

what actually happens.

  1. 01YOU TELL US.Tell us what you want to build or improve. Your contact details and a line about the business are enough to start.
  2. 02WE REPLY.A person reads it and replies about your project or situation.
  3. 03WE TALK.An hour, free, to discuss the website, application or workflow you have in mind, the systems you already use and the result you want.
  4. 04WE RECOMMEND.We explain what looks worth building, what existing software may already handle and whether we are the right people for the work.
  5. 05WE AGREE THE WORK.The deliverables, hours, responsibilities and measures are agreed in writing before paid work starts.

how long, and what it costs.

The conversation is an hour, and it is free.

The shape of the work depends on your brief and the systems involved. A clear website or application brief can start with agreeing the build. Where more discovery is needed, we agree that work and its timing first.

On cost: the rate is £62.50 plus VAT an hour, and that is the only number we advertise. There are no packages. You receive the agreed deliverables and hours in writing before paid work starts. Any ongoing changes are agreed separately.

who this works for.

We work best with owners who are ready to act. You'll get the most from this if:

  • You want a new website or a better route from interest to enquiry or booking.
  • You have an application idea or a clear build brief you want to discuss.
  • You want customer records, bookings and everyday workflows to work together.
  • You want useful AI with a clear job and appropriate human checks.
  • You need help deciding what to build, connect or keep.
  • You can act once the work is agreed.

Any sector, any size. A two-person business with something to change fits as well as a two-hundred-person one.

what we need from you.

Someone who can agree the work.
Bring the person who knows what the business needs and can make decisions about the project.
A picture of what you use today.
Your website, booking tools, customer systems and the parts that need to work together. We agree any access needed before work begins.
The result you want.
More bookings, clearer enquiries, a better customer experience or a workflow your team can rely on. We agree how to measure it.

who this doesn't work for.

A few practical limits help us agree the right work:

  • You only need routine social posting.

Our core work is websites, applications and connected systems. We can explain where that fits with your marketing.

  • You need a guaranteed business result.

We agree the work and how to measure it. We cannot guarantee demand, bookings or revenue.

  • The project cannot get the access it needs.

We agree the necessary access to people and systems before work begins. Without it, we cannot test the whole customer journey.

  • Nobody can make decisions about the build.

Someone needs to agree the brief, review the work and decide when it is ready to use.

We will say plainly if the project needs a different supplier or a different starting point.

questions people ask first.

Is the first conversation really free?
Yes. You get an hour to discuss the work and there is no obligation. Any paid work is agreed before it starts.
Can we come with a website or application brief?
Yes. Tell us what you want to build, who will use it and what it needs to achieve. If you are still deciding, we can help shape the brief and check what your existing systems can already do.
Do you only work with hospitality?
No. We build websites, applications and connected systems for small and mid-sized businesses. Our published measured results come from The Anchor, our own venue, and we make that distinction clear.
Who will we actually be dealing with?
You speak to the people doing the work. There is no account manager between you and the build.
What happens to what we tell you?
We use your enquiry to discuss the work with you. It does not sign you up to a marketing list. The privacy notice explains how your information is handled.
